This sum, will be used to pay interest to investors who subscribed to the multi-tranche bond issue launched by the Development Bank of Central African states in 2024 by the unified financial market of CEMAC countries

The cashing operations will begin on March 25, 2025, at the counters of the brokerage firms," emphasizes the Central African Stock Exchange in an official statement. According to Development Bank of Central African States, the financing mobilized will support the implementation of its "Azobe 2023-2027 Strategic Plan", which aims to intensify the bank's interventions in terms of financing development projects in the CEMAC zone. This plan requires the mobilization of a total envelope of 1895 billion FCFA. Launched in March 2024, for an initial amount of 50 billion FCFA, the Development Bank of Central African States's 2024-2031 bond issue was finally oversubscribed to 54.7 billion FCFA by investors, after a one-month extension of the subscription period. It was the first multi-tranche bond issue launched by BDEAC and the third in the CEMAC zone, after those carried out in 2023 by the State of Cameroon and the credit institution Alios Finance Cameroun
