These funds will be used to intensify financing in key sectors and to strengthen the role of the West African Development Bank in the sustainable development of the region.In 2021, the African Development Bank had already granted a 70 million euro credit line to support projects in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, and infrastructure. This new $24 million support is part of the West African Development Bank's strategic plan to intensify its interventions in the West Africa region in particular and Africa in general.In 2023, the first phase of this plan had mobilized 554.35 billion CFA francs.
