Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Minister of Commerce welcomed the choice of Cameroon to host this first edition. "This opportunity offered to Cameroonian businessmen and women demonstrates the confidence placed in our country," said Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana.

The main objective of THINKOVATE AFRICA is to highlight diverse technological innovations, particularly those adapted to the African continent, while promoting technology transfer for the benefit of local economies. This strategic meeting is part of a continental drive to promote technological innovation in priority sectors of African economies. These sectors include energy, agriculture, health, livestock farming, waste management, and industrial processing. "All this is perfectly aligned with Cameroon's National Development Strategy, a strong mandate from His Excellency the President of the Republic, and implemented by the Government with the structural transformation of the Cameroonian economy as its guiding principle," emphasized the Member of the Government.

According to the Minister of Trade, THINKOVATE AFRICA is timely and responds to the aspirations of Cameroon and Africa as a whole. These aspirations are structured around three clearly defined main axes:

addressing the challenges of structural economic transformation, stimulating local production and business competitiveness, and promoting a dynamic and innovative private sector that drives growth and jobs. The Minister also welcomed the capacity-building program planned as part of this initiative. Participating business leaders and stakeholders will benefit from internationally recognized certification. “This is a strong initiative that is in line with this other imperative for our countries: to have business leaders better prepared for the demands of international competition, a sine qua non condition for the development of our States,” said  Luc Magloire Mbarga ATANGANA

This first edition of THINKOVATE AFRICA CAMEROON 2025 is presented as an unmissable event for all stakeholders keen to contribute to the economic emergence of Cameroon through technological innovation and the transfer of skills.
