The announcement was made on December 6, 2024, during the inauguration of the new BGFI Bank headquarters building in Douala. With a solid profile, BGFI Holding will present itself to potential investors. Over 6 years, its net banking income has grown from 175 billion CFA francs to 302 billion CFA francs. Over the same period, net profit has increased from 20.5 billion CFA francs to 95.8 billion CFA francs.

The holding company has also demonstrated good cost control. Its cost-to-income ratio has decreased from 79% to 65%, representing the weight of expenses and amortization on net banking income.Once this operation is finalized, BGFI will become the 8th company to join the stock market compartment of the regional financial market, thus consolidating the dynamics of this sector. It will also be the 3rd entity headquartered in Gabon to join this stock exchange platform. For 2025, BGFI Bank is targeting a total balance sheet of 6,000 billion CFA francs, customer deposits of 4,000 billion CFA francs, customer loans of 3500 billion CFA francs, net banking income of 363 billion CFA francs, and a consolidated net income of 130 billion CFA francs.
