Swiss African Premium Beverage (SAPB) is investing in energy autonomy by installing a solar system at its production site in Kendeck, Douala suburbs. The company has allocated 250 million CFA francs for this project, primarily funded by its own resources with support from partners. SAPB's decision comes in response to the instability of the electrical network provided by Eneo, the local energy supplier. The company aims to stabilize its production and reduce costs in the long run by harnessing solar energy. By adopting solar energy, SAPB is not only reducing its reliance on the grid but also contributing to a more sustainable production model. This move reflects the company's commitment to environmental responsibility and innovative practices in the face of Cameroon's unreliable energy infrastructure. This solar system will enable the brewery currently employing more than 50 people to ,reduce its reliance on traditional energy sources and lower its environmental impact. With a capacity to produce 510 kW, the system will be able to meet the brewery's current energy needs and potentially support future expansion .With this project, SAPB aims not only to stabilize its production but also to reduce its costs in the medium term. Solar electricity is expected to become the primary source of energy for the site, with operation tailored to industrial needs and planning. This investment is also part of an ecological approach
