Parallel to these earthworks, the contractor has launched a critical phase of supplying surfacing materials. Deposits of 10/14 and 6/10 grading gravel are multiplying along the route, intended for the implementation of a double-layer coating on the roadway and a single-layer treatment for the shoulders. This logistical component already covers more than 5 kilometers, signaling the imminence of the first gravelling operations that will seal the road structure.

The execution of this contract, closely monitored by the technical services of the Ministry of Public Works, responds to a demand for durability in an area subject to heavy rainfall constraints. The rigorous reprofiling and compaction of the platform form the foundation of this infrastructure, whose purpose is to facilitate the transport of cash crops to urban consumption centers. By stabilizing the roadway and ensuring adequate drainage, the project aims to drastically reduce travel times and vehicle maintenance costs.
