The state budget for the year 2025 amounts to 7,317.7 billion FCFA, including both income (including loans) and expenses. It is divided into 7,250.8 billion FCFA for the general budget and 66.9 billion FCFA for the 11 Special Allocation Accounts (CAS).It increases by 39.6 billion (+0.5%) compared to the revised finance law of 2024, resulting from an increase of 38.3 billion in the general budget and 1.3 billion FCFA (+1.5%) in the budget of the Special Allocation Accounts (SAA).
For the year 2025, the main challenges that the Cameroonian State plans to address during the budgetary exercise include: the continuation of the implementation of major investment projects, the improvement of the energy supply to industries, and the implementation of the integrated import substitution plan for agriculture, livestock, and fisheries.The continuation of project implementation falls under the initial impulse program. The continuation of the implementation of universal health coverage. Strengthening social cohesion and the decentralization process. Continued security monitoring across the entire territory. The implementation of the presidential plan for the reconstruction and development of regions affected by security crises.
