The main objective of this operation is to enhance the value of the Petroleum Information Center's (CIP) data to attract new investments and promote the development of oil and gas activities in Cameroon. The strategy should consider various market segments, create a competitive offering, and implement tools and actions to promote CIP services, maximizing the value of the data. The implementation of these services will be funded by SNH's 2025 budget. The consultant will analyze the current state of CIP's operations, assess its strengths and weaknesses, and suggest improvements. They will also audit existing contracts and develop a contractual strategy.Regarding the market, the service provider will conduct an analysis of the exploration and production data market, identifying key trends, major players, current and future data user needs. They will also assess the competition and define the competitive advantages of the Petroleum Information Center (CIP) compared to other National Data Banks (BDN) in the upstream hydrocarbon sector of the sub-region.It's worth noting that SNH plays a crucial role in Cameroon's economy, having generated 496.596 billion CFA francs in revenue for the state in 2024. The corporation's budget and financial operations are subject to scrutiny, especially given the recent criticism from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) regarding SNH's direct interventions and exceptional procedures.By achieving these objectives, the National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH) aims to attract new investors and enhance the development of oil and gas activities in Cameroon, particularly with the recent launch of a licensing campaign for nine oil blocks.
