Orange Money - Access Bank Cameroon : Launched a money transfer service to several African countries

Orange Money Cameroon announced on August 4, 2025, that it has signed a partnership with Access Bank Cameroon. This partnership aims to facilitate money transfers from Cameroon to several African countries via the Max It platform

According to Orange Money Cameroon, this service allows users to send money to Nigeria, Guinea, Ghana, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The service is integrated into the Max It app, which groups several features related to financial services, payment, and account management.This partnership demonstrates Orange's commitment to providing innovative financial solutions and increasing financial inclusion in Africa. By leveraging its mobile money platform and partnering with Access Bank, Orange aims to make cross-border transactions more accessible and convenient for its users.The launch is part of Orange's strategy to expand access to financial services in Africa and facilitate cross-border transfers.Orange processed over €160 billion in transactions in 2024 and had over 110 million subscribers in 17 countries in Africa and the Middle East.The partnership between Orange Money and Access Bank Cameroon aims to provide a convenient and secure way for individuals to send money across borders
