It is in accordance with Articles 47 and 48 of the Mining Code law of December 19, 2023, which assigns Sonamines the mission of representing the State within industrial mining companies. This decision is considered by Sonamines as an important step towards protecting the State's interests in the mining sector and enhancing its natural resources. Quarrycam operates the Biou Sud and Bidzar Bloc B marble mines in the Mayo-Louti department.From a financial standpoint, the legislative advantagesestablished for the benefit of the State, as transposed in the specific arrangements of Quarrycam S.A.'s shareholders, ensure the effective profitability of the mining activity through the receipt of dividends from the company's operations and, more immediately, the sharing of production received in kind from the first commercial production until the end of the project. After more than 10 years of waiting, the Lafarge Group's subsidiary has finally secured its two marble extraction permits for these sites. Quarrycam S.A. aims to enhance Cimencam's operations, which already involve extracting marble and limestone to produce cement in the North, notably in the town of Figuil.Exploration work has revealed exploitable reserves of 101.9 million tonnes, comprising 85.2 million tonnes at the Biou Sud site and 16.7 million tonnes at the Bidzar site. Cimencam S.A intends to extract 1.059 million tonnes annually from the first site over approximately 80 years, and 0.668 million tons annually from the second site over approximately 25 years, yielding a total estimated annual output of 1.727 million tons. This output will be dedicated to producing clinker for cement manufacturing
