The Bank prioritizes Industrialization , private sector development and promotes the development of transport infrastructure that will facilitate interaction and trade at the regional level. As of late October 2024 , the active portfolio of the African Development Bank Group in Ghana comprised 23 projects with a total commitment amount of $850 million, approximately 526500 Cfa Francs. The Bank will support and assist Ghana in development and maintenance of high -quality, durable and climate -resilient road infrastructure,to improve links between production centers, national and regional markets. In addition,AFDB will also support Ghana, to help leverage financial engineering instruments to support entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, improve energy supply development and increase financing for skills and technical capacity building. This initiative by AFDB will help boost Ghana's socio- economic development for the wellbeing of the population.
