This mission follows an initial visit in July 2024 , during which the financing of the construction of a 145 km section of the Ngatt- Febadi- Likok road on the Batchenga -Ngaoundere corridor was under study.Among the planned initiative is" project CMR 1037" which includes the construction of the Douala -Bafoussam road , and the construction of roads aimed at opening up the agricultural and pastoral regions of loum - yabassi , Bafang- Nkondjock and Loum -Tombel - kumba.The Ministry of Public Works revealed that, the rehabilitation of National Highway 5 from Bekoko - Bafang is among the projects slated for financing between 2025- 2027, along with other road initiatives: Douala -Bafoussam,Douala - Yaounde , Bafang-Nkonndjock .Data from both the The government of Cameroon and the Islamic Development Bank indicates that, ISDB active portfolio in Cameroon consists of 17 projects currently under implementation, supplemented by a technical assistance operation , with a total value of $ 962,704 million , approximately morethan 577 billion Cfa Francs.
