Climatic disruptions, the gloominess of the capital and commodity markets, fluctuations in oil costs, and wars around the world have all contributed to the slowdown in our growth prospects. Despite this challenging environment, Cameroon's economy has experienced a resurgence of activity, with a growth rate estimated at 3.8% in 2024 and projected at 4.1% in 2025.The measures implemented to curb speculative practices and boost the supply of basic necessities helped reduce inflation from 4.74% in 2023 to 5% in 2024, and efforts to control inflation will need to be sustained in 2025 to achieve a rate of 4%.
