This growth momentum would be driven by improved financial conditions, lower inflation, increased foreign investment, and strong performance in the industrial sector.The December 11, 2024 report also reveals that more than 10 African countries will feature among the world's top 20 fastest-growing economies in the upcoming year.And more than twenty African countries engaged in reforms supported by the International Monetary Fund will have to overcome macroeconomic challenges such as persistent inflation, volatility in commodity prices, geopolitical tensions, and the growing effects of climate change.
