The framework agreement,  focuses on education, research, and development support. Specifically, in education, it aims to establish vocational training mechanisms for students and PAD staff.Regarding research, the agreement focuses on supporting scientific events (conferences, seminars, research workshops). As for development support, the partnership involves providing advisory support to the Port of Douala (PAD) on matters related to its activities. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, driving innovation and competitiveness in the region. By combining their strengths, the Port Autonome de Douala and the University of Bertoua seek to enhance skills, promote socio-economic development, and foster a culture of innovation : the company draws on the university's human and intellectual resources, while the university relies on the practical expertise of companies to improve its training,With this partnership, the Douala Autonomous Port continues its dynamic implementation of its ambitious Development Master Plan for 2050.
