In order to catch up on the delay and complete the rehabilitation works on the Yabassis-Loum road section, the project owner has instructed the contracting company to accelerate the pace of the works.Financed jointly by the resources transferred by the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Development to the Coastal Regional Council, as part of the implementation of the decentralization process.These works have reached a progress level of 15.46% with a time consumption of 66.66%.The scope of the work already carried out includes the installation of construction sites, 40% of the installation of metal pipes, 100% of the installation of manhole covers, and 90% of the installation of drainage pipes, according to an information note from the Ministry of Public Works.This project is part of the numerous initiatives of the Cameroonian government to rehabilitate roads in decentralized municipalities for the well-being of the population.
