Dernière mise à jours il y'a 9 heures

The Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy, and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) granted a strategic audience to a delegation from Business Facilities Corporation (BFC), led by its Managing Director, Ms. Carole Mbessa Elongo. This meeting, characterized by operational convergence, allowed the SME specializing in professional support to outline its roadmap for corporate structuring, not only in Cameroon but across the entire Central African region. For the government, the objective is to identify agile allies capable of transforming the potential of local entrepreneurs into regional champions.

At the heart of the discussions, BFC’s vision was scrutinized through the imperatives of the SND30. The company presented a record of its concrete actions aimed at professionalizing project leaders and facilitating their access to structured services. The talks with MINPMEESA explored innovative avenues for collaboration to strengthen the technical supervision of SMEs, which are often confronted with challenges of governance and longevity. The shared ambition is to create an environment where support is no longer limited to occasional advice but is integrated into a proximity-based follow-up capable of generating a measurable social and economic impact, notably through the creation of decent and stable jobs.

This audience marks the beginning of a promising institutional synergy. The Managing Director of BFC reaffirmed her organization's commitment to serving as a secular arm for the implementation of more effective support policies. By leveraging synergies between public programs and private expertise, MINPMEESA intends to streamline the growth path of local businesses. For the private sector, this high-level recognition acts as a catalyst for confidence, which is indispensable for attracting investment and technical partnerships within the sub-region.

The future of Cameroonian SMEs is being shaped through these public-private dialogue platforms. By relying on dynamic actors such as Business Facilities Corporation, the State optimizes its chances of achieving its emergence objectives. Today’s meeting is merely the prelude to a series of concerted actions that should, by the end of the semester, result in more robust support programs specifically calibrated to meet the competitiveness requirements of the continental market.
