These include a consortium of Chinese companies Sino Hydro and Stecol, the Moroccan Staport S.A. and the Chadian Sotcocog.The works, which amount to 103 billion CFA francs, are financed by the African Development Bank, the European Union, and the State of Cameroon.The rehabilitation of these roads is part of the implementation of the Territorial Development and Private Sector Promotion Project in the Far North Region.The works to be carried out will extend over a period of fifteen (15)months.The rehabilitation of three road sections in the Far North region of Cameroon involves improving the Moutourwa-Maroua , Madaga-Guidiguis, and Guidiguis-Yagoua roads.Here are the details of each project: Moutouwa-Maroua: This 36-kilometer road section requires a budget of 21.1 billion CFA francs for its rehabilitation, Madaga-Guidiguis: This 68-kilometer road section requires a budget of 40 billion CFA francs for its rehabilitation and Guidiguis-Yagoua: This 68-kilometer road section requires a budget of 41 billion CFA francs for its rehabilitation.
