Non-Tax Revenues: CFA 361 Billion To Be Collected in 2025.

For the current year, the government plans to collect 361 billion FCFA in non-tax revenues. This amount is roughly half of the identified potential, according to Finance Minister Louis Paul Motaze.

In December, Minister Motaze assured deputies that the government is pursuing reforms to improve non-tax revenues, which currently stand at 300 billion FCFA, with the goal of reaching 600 billion FCFA.According to the Budget Directorate at the Ministry of Finance, non-tax revenues include "fees paid for the issuance of certain administrative documents, fines, dividends (share of profits paid by public enterprises).Several areas for collecting these revenues have been identified by the Ministry of Finance, including:Annual visa fees ,5% of the contract amount for individual consultants and foreign experts.Sanctions regime ,3 months' gross salary or 5% of contract fees for foreigners who fail to pay visa fees and Penalty for suspended public procurement activities ,capped at 1 million FCFA (2% of the forecast market amount).Among other revenue streams, the institution of a 150,000 CFA francs approval fee per file for the opening of a vocational training center. The institution of a 200,000 CFA francs per year and per application fee for the issuance of a cinematographic work operator permit. And the annual payment of 100,000 CFA francs for individuals wishing to obtain electronic certificates issued by the Ministry of Public Procurement.For the year 2025, the government plans to collect 5,548 billion CFA francs in revenue, broken down as follows:

Oil and gas revenues:734 billion CFA francs,Tax and duty revenues: 3,217 billion CFA francs, Customs revenues: 1,144 billion CFA francs,Non-tax revenues: 361 billion CFA francs, Expected donations: 90 billion CFA francs.
