Gabon: Homintec plans to invest $100 million in modernizing toll roads

Specialized in computerized automation of road,Homintec SARL, a Benines company presented a technical and financial offer to the Gabonese authorities for installing four automated toll and weigh stations and rehabilitating existing toll stations

with an estimated global investment of around $100 million  according to the Gabonese Ministry of Public works ,Homintec presented four technological models for toll and weigh stations that combine telepayment, intelligent automation, water supply systems, and energy autonomy via mini solar stations. A test phase will be conducted in Lambaréné with the construction of a first off-grid toll station adapted to rural areas, before deploying similar stations across the country.This project would represent a strategic expansion for Homintec, allowing the company to establish a presence in the Central African market and leverage Gabon as a hub for future growth and development .
