According to the citizen's budget classification prepared by the Ministry of Finance, these are the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and the Ministry of Land, Cadastre and Land Affairs.The amount allocated to the infrastructure sector has increased by 243,6 billion CFA francs compared to the 2024 fiscal year.The Ministry of Public Works holds the largest envelope with 638,6billion CFA francs, representing 45.9% of the sector's budget and 8.8% of the overall budget established at 7317,7 billion CFA francs.Follow-up of the Ministry of Water and Energy with 493.4 billion CFA francs and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development with 1157.8 billion CFA francs.In principle, the financial resources allocated to these key sectors are not leakages. They constitute levers for the country's economic development. However, according to President Paul Biya, these infrastructure sectors still have a long way to go given the many challenges they face.
