This agreement, signed by BEAC Governor Yvon SANA BANGUI and BDEAC President Dieudonné EVOU MEKOU, aims to consolidate BDEAC's intervention capabilities in favor of development in the six CEMAC countries.The BEAC's support will be materialized through a phased disbursement: 40 billion CFA francs in 2025 for immediate project and 80 billion CFA francs in 2026 to sustain the impact This funding is part of a current account facility, bringing the total liquidity injected by BEAC to 240 billion CFA francs. This envelope aims to improve BDEAC's financial health and expand its project portfolio, whether carried by states or private actors.In addition to this envelope, BDEAC already benefits from a refinancing line of 150 billion CFA francs, accessible through a BEAC window dedicated to structural investments. Furthermore, BEAC, the majority shareholder of BDEAC, has recently increased its capital participation to 501.45 billion CFA francs, confirming its pivotal role in regional financial stability. This agreement reflects the shared desire between BDEAC and BEAC to accelerate the emergence of CEMAC, with the resource allocated , prioritize transformative projects that are aligned with national and regional strategies will be prioritized : finance critical infrastructure (roads, energy, telecommunications) ,support SMEs and industrialization, creating jobs and srengthen economic resilience to external shocks
