The demand for healthcare has increased significantly, putting a strain on local health facilities. To address this situation, Plan International Cameroon is providing medical supplies and equipment worth 20 million FCFA, funded by the Federal Republic of Germany, to 13 health facilities in the communes of Mokolo, Mora, Makari, Logone Birni, and Koza. This support aims to strengthen the capacity of health structures and improve access to care for vulnerable populations, especially young people and adolescents. "The state alone cannot meet all the needs, which is why the support of partners is crucial," emphasizes Haman Bouba, head of the regional delegation of Public Health. "We are doing everything possible to provide quality care, but this type of support is a real relief," adds Dr. Daniel Ethe Maka, head of the Koza health district. This gesture is part of an effort to reduce infant and juvenile mortality and build a more resilient and stable society
